What animals in your area are in trouble? Which populations need to be lowered? Any endangered species? What do you do to help?

Wolf numbers have gotten extremely high and have devastated the already crippled, from habitat loss, Elk and Moose.

Zebra Mussels and Millfoil are invasing and screwing up water.

Porcupines are on the absolute edge of extinction because they were all poisoned by loggers because they ate trees.

Bulltrout are protected

Wht state? I'm from northern Minnesota, wolves are way too overpopulated, and the pussies might get the hunt stopped for this year. Dumbasses actually believe porcupine destroy a bunch of trees as well. The moose hunts been cancelled for this year.

These little dudes. 90% of their population has died within the last 30 years, in the Mojave, as a direct result of rednecks who shoot and run them over. Idiots on dirt bikes and atvs come out to the desert thinking that it's empty, and destroy their population. I've done the only thing I can legally do to help, on the rare occasion that I've come across them: contact BLM who sends someone to relocate them to a protected space. Unfortunately, the desert is pretty big, and rednecks don't seem to care that they aren't supposed to play with their toys in the tortoise's habitat.

I misspoke--you're right. It's a white-trash issue. There's absolutely nothing wrong with people who spend enough time outside that they have a permanently red neck. I shouldn't use the terms interchangeably.

Gone out desert hiking plenty of times and always wished I'd see one of those little guys. It's sad knowing that they are few and far between because of dicks on ATVs who can't seem to stay on the roads.
