>>297422>there aren't many knives that can dig a hole, chop a tree and slice a tomato afterThere are loads that will perform every bit as well or better, eickhorn aren't special
And digging a hole with a knife is retarded, make a digging stick
>what is a better knife in your opinion, one made in the us?For the price there are a multitude that will work just as well, some made in the us, others made elsewhere, country of origin doesn't mean shit
At the price a fallkniven a1 (Japanese made Swedish knife) will blow it away
If beating on your knife is important to you, and chopping trees and digging holes is something you use your knife for a lot then the British army survival knife willow chop, split, dig and pry better
The bundeswehr knife, once reprofiled will also perform very well for a fraction of the price
>hurr durr blah blah my little ponyA combat knife is good for what it is but they don't make the best knives for general woods carry or hunting, something shorter that is designed to slice will be infinitely more useful than a long knife that is geared less toward utility and more toward being able to kill someone and act as an improvised pry bar and sometimes cutting something
>hipster camperFuck yourself, you call of duty brand whore, if you are going to blow that kind of money on a knife why not get something made by hand to your specifications, out of the highest quality material that looks beautiful, and is unique, that your children and able to carry and show off, something that they could really be proud of
That being said, ive known of and wanted the, acr, km3000 and km2000 for a while and might end up getting them for the collection at some point, but there are many on the list before them, because at the price, the competition outperforms them
