And no, I'm not making any excuses for the police, as I've stated before they could at least have had the balls to shoot him while he was facing them, not as he turned around to (presumably) comply with their demands. Then again, I wasn't there so It's hard for me to judge what would have been appropriate in that situation. Either way, why would you be brandishing knives towards police officers with M4s? That's just stupid. Did the guy think he'd win outnumbered AND outgunned? Seriously, if preservation of life was in his best interest (and perhaps it wasn't, I mean, he was brandishing two knives at police... that's smart right?) he should have just dropped the knives and threw his hands up in the air. Everything probably would have been sorted out - maybe he would have been detained - I don't know.
