Just got this mess kit from my friend who trades military surplus. He gave me this for free because im soon going on a trip into the mountains, so he figured it might be of some use for me.
It is aluminium however, so can you please tell me why aluminium is bad for a mess kit? It seems to be a piece of Swedish army equipment from the 70's and with some work i might clean it up and use it, design seems okay.
What do you think out?
