The Forest of Dean trip is on Thursday. If you're coming please reply to the e-mail list with your mobile phone number or some other way of getting in touch with you on the day so that don't end up going with-out you.

If people don't reply to the e-mail to confirm they're coming, we'll assume that they aren't and we'll go without you.

Anyway, had to sell that car but know a good green lane near there (lydford, don't go to the gorge it's like £7 entry)

With the Dartmoor trip, which parts are we gonna be hiking around?

From what I remember from looking at a map there's a forest in the southern part but other then that it's all moorland with those shitty spiky plants and a few rocks.

Trying to decide between my 2 man tent which is too big and will get laughed at or my hammock.

The Forest of dean trip is being delayed until Friday now; it just works better for the three of us who have said we're going.

The south mostly, I imagine, since the north is mostly military areas. I know the south quite well, also. It's a large area but small enough to cross over a couple of days and see a good amount of it. It's also easily accessible by most transport links.

There are a couple of interesting forests. I particularly want to camp for one of the nights at Piles Copse. Most of the forested areas are much larger but Piles Copse is a particularly nice place.

Forest of Dean trip has been cancelled this week and moved to next week.

The only other anon who was coming has a busy schedule and wouldn't likely be able to make it today on top of the fact that it's fucking pissing down.
