2) Water purification tablets
3) Soup packets
4) Aluminium foil
5) Magnesium fire starter, waterproof matches or lighters
6) Tinder (birch bark, twigs, cotton, take a compact wire saw if you think you need it)
iii. Safety
1) Your ID
2) "Bread crumb" kit (glowsticks, etc)
3) Flashlight (preferably headlamp) with back up batteries
4) Compass/maps
