Saturday I couldn't pay for a bite. My pops caught a snakehead, fairly large crappie and a few largemouth. I only caught one crappie smaller than one of my hands. Sunday was his turn to have a case of the fisherman's blues. He caught maybe two or three largemouth but most of the day he just couldn't keep his line unjumbled and in the water (and when it was he had a knack for finding things to snag on). As for myself I was just going down the checklist of fish to catch; white perch, crappie, largemouth, snakehead, channel cat. Only way I could've done better is if I'd managed a yellow perch, bluegill and maybe if a stray striper had wandered into the bay to check things out.
Anyway, here's one of his largemouth to start.
>>301263I'm supposed to be in central PA about a month from now. Looking to hit Raystown, Shawnee and some of the other nearby lakes and rivers. Hopefully it warms up by then. Of course Third Winter is rolling into the East Coast tonight but maybe it'll finally be done 'til the end of the year after that.
