>>301547I'm who you replied to.
I didn't imply anything, you somehow shoe horned that into what I said.
I made a joke, you fired back with a page of science...... I'm not refuting what you said, just questioning why you jumped at me instead of say, someone who said global warming wasn't real?
>>301588I didn't say the IPCC report was crap, I said it ain't perfect.
>>301598While I may agree with you to some extent......
Are you aware that what you just said is the equivalent to
>Anyone who disagrees with my position is just too stupid to understand what I'm saying Which is pretty intellectually lazy.......
>>301315>B movie terrorist action plot Err, okay?
>5 page monologues Well, not really..... but more to the point if you read a book by a guy it's probably because you enjoy listening to them, so I don't see a problem with this (even if it was the case..... which its not)
>randomly vivid sex scenes Jesus you're just no fun, huh? It's a CINEMATIC novel, as in EVERYTHING will be vividly described. Yes, that includes the 1 sex scene. Honestly, that's a nice refreshing change in pace from "The two main charecters go into a bedroom after 20 chapters of lead up" - flip page- "The next chapter"
>A fight with a crocodile I'll refer you to the thing about no fun.
He didn't hate liberals, he practically foresaw that people would take the whole climate change thing WAY to fucking far, molest its ideals and values, and twist it the fuck around to make a quick buck at the expense of taking any real substantive action that would truly help our desperate planet. How can you even argue against that? It sounds more to me like you spent 300 pages go "Ughh, this guys wrong, I'll just finish the book so I can refute it fully".
Seriously, since I can't tell you to try and meet Crichton (he died......mega sad) may I recommend you to his IQ2 debate? Trust me, anything intellectually you can come up with would be no match for this man.......
