I decided to say fuck it and go take a hike during one month to visit my country (I live in a small country mind you)
I am sportive enough so even if it ain't easy I should be able to do it
there are lots of forest here but wilderness isn't really dangerous

anyway what should I bring ?

Congratulations.

Not sure what the alps are like now, but I'd imagine they're starting to melt. Careful for falling rocks!

Other than that, are you trying to day hike or camp? Camp or trek? Trek or climb?

I am not really sure what am I exactly going to do but I figured I would walk from youth hostels to youth hostels and take a tent with me if I can't find a shelter

I am not a complete novice, I have been a boyscout for years

The Mountaineers Ten Essentials is a good place to start.

Navigation (map & compass)
Sun Protection (sun glasses, sun screen, lip balm)
Insulation (extra clothing)
Illumination (flashlight or headlamp, spare bulb & batteries)
First-Aid Supplies (gauze, tape, etc.)
Fire (firestarter, matches, lighter)
Repair Kit (knife, duct tape, tools, spare parts)
Nutrition (extra food)
Hydration (extra water, water purification)
Emergency Shelter (tarp, garbage bag)

Obviously these a general guide lines and need to be customized to whatever activity and environment you're going to be in, but it's a good place to start.

Don't worry about plunking down top-dollar for the very best gear, just make sure you have the basics covered. Food, shelter, water, etc.

Some stuff can be multipurpose as well. A poncho can work as rain gear, ground cover or an emergency shelter.
Also shoes. Make sure your boots/shoes fit you well and are appropriate

Less than 14kg - trail runners or light hikers.

14-20kg - Sturdier hiking boots.

20kg and up - Heavy-grade backpacking boots.

Also, account for swelling when sizing your shoes.

Get some alpine club maps, they're great. you could check out some well known long distance trails (like whatever European long distance or pilgrimage trails go through switzerland), but if you think you're experienced enough, plan your own route.

This winter didn't bring very much snow in the eastern alps, but I don't know about the western alps, so better check avalanche reports if you plan on going on mountains.

If you're talking about hiking from town to town and maybe camping along the way, you should google the Camino de Santiago.

It's a catholic pilgrimage through Spain that seems pretty similar to what you're thinking about doing. That might be a good place to start looking for what you'd need on a cross-country-but-not-back-country trek.
