there isn't a good camping beer. only good camping liquor unless you hauled a case out there. then, the cheaper the better. You must be dense if you think I'm gonna lug a craft bomber out in the woods and then bring it back later. at least a fifth will get me through a few month

Homebrewer here. Every so often I put some up in plastic bottles to take innawoods. Bitters is great with barbecue around a campfire.

Beer isn't an innawoods (innabush) drink for me to be honest (And i'm Australian haha), there's nothing like sitting around the fire with your mates passing around a bottle of good whiskey or scotch, i prefer Jameson's or Canadian club

Funny story. One time camped way the fuck out innawoods. 6-7 mile hike from nearest road, in the heart of a state wilderness area, middle of adirondacks. Temp about 85 deg. Place is desolate. All of a sudden 2 fat sweaty neckbearded kids show up out of nowhere. Lugging a huge softshell cooler with "Coors Light" written on the side. A whole case.

I prefer Red Tail, but they don't put it in cans. Sam Smith's makes an excellent brown ale. Never heard of "Oak Creek". Must be expensive seeing as nothing grows in Arizona.
