Even got to swim through a small coral cave (like maybe 20 feet long, but was cool anyway.) We saw this fish on day one of the dive. It was about the size of one of a bean bag chair, fairly round shape, and it had the coolest purple labyrinth pattern on it's face with a little scar under it's right eye. We moved dive sites every day and went pretty far, and that fish followed us for 3 days. We couldn't get in without seeing him.
Also had a "oh fuck imma die" moment. Was just me being a bitch but it had me spooked at the time. Swimming around checking out nature and shit, when my dive buddy looks at me, makes the shark hand signal, and appears to point over my shoulder. I'm like "FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKTHISISHOWIDIEFUCKFUCK" and I turn around to see how close it is, and I don't see shit. I continue to look around and don't see shit so I look back at my buddy. He does the hand motion again, then points at this little worm/sperm looking thingy about the size of my thumb swimming around between us that I hadn't noticed before. Apparently that shit was a baby shark.
Had an opportunity to do a night dive on that trip, but fuck that noise. As I have already stated, I don't fuck with shit I can't see.
