Fill pot with water to fill mark on basket stem, Put the coffee grounds in the basket, put the basket in the pot, pud the basket lid on the basket, then put the lid on the percolator, put the pot on heat source, once the water is at a boil, remove from heat source and wait a few minutes for the coffee to finish dripping and cool down. If you forget, instructions are included.
Just as a warning, this stuff is MUCH stronger than normal coffee from Starbucks. Reason being, is that the water is recycled over and over again once the water hits the boiling point.
Also, expect coffee grounds in your coffee, but that should be a given.
