Anyone else use a .22 rifle while /out/ing? I have recently decided to go ahead and purchase a Ruger 10/22 for general use as the ammunition is cheaper and easier to carry; it is also a very fun gun to shoot in general. I have a couple questions for anyone who has experience in this department.

>Is it worth getting a take down model or should I stick with a regular model affixed to a pack or slung?

>Scope or no scope? If so, what magnification/price range?

>Any other essential accessories?

I have wanted one for a while, but this tax return will probably seal the deal with me pulling the trigger (hehe) on a purchase in the next week. I plan on getting a few BX-25 mags and possible a scope, but need a bit of direction if anyone has the knowledge they would like to share.
