But it's the owner's fault, if you look on the wikipedia page (French or Dutch, don't remember), you'll read that he turned down all bids.
I talked to a local there, apparently the owner also owns Chateau De Veves, which is well-kept and only 1km from Chateau Noisy. He also told me the owner doesn't want to sell it to the government/village to have it restored. He only wants to have it restored if he continues to own it (aka free money). The local told me he wanted 25 million.
Also, I heard that some Japanese businessman bid an insane amount to move the complete castle to Japan. Speaking of the Japanese, a friend of a friend who talked to the guard told me the guard had once spotted some Japanese guys running a porno in Chateau Noisy.
