ITT: Dumbest shit you've done while trekking/camping as cautionary tales for other anons.

I think my dumbest moment was diving into glaciar water in the top of a mountain. It does feel like a thousand knives are fucking stabbing you all over and I don't think anyone could be there for more than a couple of minutes without losing sensation in the arms and eventually drowning.

I did it as a dare, was at the top of a mountain and the glaciar formed a pool so I dove in, just underwear on. Lasted a minute or so before I had to crawl out with barely functioning limbs. Could've easily died, looking back on it.
