Alright, /out/, I could use some expertise. My friends and I wanted to go camping this summer, we would go July or August. Where in NYS, specifically the Adirondacks or along Lake Ontario would have the best bird watching? Preferably somewhere with camping available, not just a day trip, or at least a campground nearby?

I've been looking around and found places like Selkirk Shores, Cranberry Lake, Brown Tract Pond, but I'll be honest I have no idea what I'm looking for. Water birds would be the coolest, Osprey and Bald Eagles hopefully have a chance at being seen, but anything rare would be a plus.
