First, it's still a kettle. It can boil water, and has a pour spout. But it comes apart and is completely cleanable.
Second, it's a 1000ml, or 4 cup, or 33oz open top metal cooking container. That's plenty of space for soup or oatmeal or whatever for two or three people.
Third, if you DO enjoy coffee in the woods, it means you don't have to carry a separate filter, or paper filters. If you prefer tea, you can easily brew loose leaf tea (which is the best way to brew tea).
It wouldn't be my first choice for a in the woods container, but if I'm camping in a group, if one person carried a 775ml MSR stowaway pot and the other carried this, It would be a freaking fantastic system for two or three campers.
