After browsing the web it seems Americans wear jeans hiking a hell of a lot more than you see over in the UK/EU. Any reason for this?
I personally wear combat style pants (i.e. cargo trousers) which I find more useful due to pockets and the material drying 100x quicker.
Also, hiking shirts vs t shirts?
