I've lost interest in this series after season 2, but watched first season with Teti or whatever he's called out of curiosity, anyway series gradually went to shit, and I have bad aftertaste after it because I used to enjoy both Lundin's and Canterbury's work, and now I've lost respect for them all. They had so brilliant ideas and overall survival philosphies, and yet they sold out for TV, get chewed and spitted.

I came back to Ray Mears shows but instead of rewatching them I'm doing practice trying to replicate those demonstrations

oddly enough Cody is a guest speak over here in the UK next week at the Bushcraft show. I'm sure it will come up at some point as to what went on there, you never know i might get to ask him in person

The guy who came in after Canterbury left was an unwatchable idiot and I lost interest in the show. Saw it with some other guy who killed a rattlesnake while Cody laughed at him once. Just not the same, haven't watched in a long time.

One thing I liked about the show is they actually have a bit of sense.

Man, Woman, Wild was fun, too.

I was meh on MWW until they had the episode where they actually called it quits and showed them pulling out of a unsurvivable situation.

They got a fuckload of respect from me for that. It's pretty rare...actually, as far as I've seen, it's unique, for a wilderness survival expert of any description to admit to failure on the show they are producing.

I don't think so. I've rewatched those first 2 seasons on netflix so many times and some episodes never get old. LA Swamp,Olympic rain forest and Wyoming Rocky Mtns were all great.

Seems like he's got quite a few mental issues going on.

I don't care that he thinks this is some kind of a lifestyle he chose to live, it's not like you get special powers from it. Don't do stupid shit, and most importantly, don't teach it to others! Shorts = massive amounts of heat loss, insulated pants = little amount of heat loss! It's that fucking simple!
