Sup /out/, anyone else climb?

I mostly do 5.12s to 5.13s, climbing with a pair of chucks and jeans, usually only one rope. Don't bother with a belayer. Thinking of starting overhangs even but will see, might use two ropes for that.

Who else is a climber?

Learn your shit before you spew on the internet about things you don't have experience in. 5.12 and 5.13 are really hard (I know you must have seen the videos of Sharma and Ondra blasting 15c, but that should put it in better perspective about how good they are), most don't ever make it to 12-. Get a belay partner and go have fun!

pic is of a sport route called Tsunami. An 80's test piece, really rough 12b (some call it hard 12c), and my first 12.

No I am not a noob so please get lost. 5.12 and 5.13 are easy as hell when you bolt on your way up, using an industrial bolter I use for work and just clip in to each new bolt, usually bring about 20 quick draws on each climb. Had some faggot climber hippies get pissed I put bolts on there "routes" and they keyed my car.

I clip my rope into each bolt I put into the rock. Clip one, climb up, install bolt, clip second rope, unclip first rope, keep doing that till at the top.

Jeans are easy your showing off if you gotta shoot your legs around a lot just to get up stuff.

if you're direct aiding 12 please refer to the grade as A0. And dude, that was not cool. You're lucky they only keyed your car, some real old school traddies would have kicked your ass.

12a should have a crux of about V4 moves on average and 13b is about V7-8 crux moves on average. Everything in that range is pretty fucking difficult. If you're 'considering' getting on overhanging terrain, you aren't as experienced as you think. Have fun aid-soloing, retard.

My friends were down there 3 weeks ago, I'd love to check it out. The only climbing I've done in the US was at Vantage, WA. Otherwise it's been Squamish, BC, and Skaha, BC.
