What do you think about solo climbing Mt Whitney, Mountaineers' route in mid June? This is my first time doing Whitney. I have some mountaineering/snow travel experience but I'm a bit uneasy about the scramble at the top. I've only done a tiny bit of scrambling on San Jacinto. I'd be bringing a helmet of course. Anyone done this route recently and can say anything about conditions?
