>>324050>mt. fujiDone it. This was the most crowded and least "naturey" mountain I have ever climbed. The trail is only natural soil and rock for about 1/4 of the way. The rest of the way is some kind of raised gravel path. The whole way up, you're surrounded by these mountain huts and other structures, as well as ten million other tourists. When I was there, it was cloudy, so, as there are no trees around, all I could see was just the ugly, over-populated rock of the mountain. Plus, unless you live in Japan, you'll be there as a tourist, on a bus, and using the more popular trailheads. Not the best climb at all.
