So I played around with my new Hennessy Hammock a couple days ago, and I realized that it renders sleeping bags useless by compressing the insulation underneath and making your back cold.
I don't know if I want to deal with underquilts and crap, they look complicated and bulky. Also, they're a niche item and as such, pretty expensive. I don't know how to work a sewing machine either. Does anyone here make do by just throwing an inflatable sleeping pad inside the hammock? I happen to have a Klymit Static V insulated pad.
