What hiking poles does /out/ use?
My old poles were REI brand, foam grips with shocks. The shocks didn't seem to have much benefit. The foam was comfortable but became damaged easily. The twist locks came loose occasionally and were hard to tighten in cold weather.
I'm about to pick up a pair of these, Black Diamond Ergo. They have comfortable grips, flick locks, and no shocks. A bit pricy at $110 though. If you want cork handles there's not many options out there.
