I honestly hate how this uses some stupid slot restriction system that makes it inaccurate for depicting what you could carry. So I'll just list. Note: This is from a leisure perspective. I'm not trying to survive some horrible situation.
>Clothes: Main long-limbed wind-breaking set with hood, Spare set, A took, my glasses, maybe look into sunglasses, Scarf (optional)
>Storage: Large hiking backpack, possibly 2 pouches (2 for balance).
>Shelter: Sleeping Bag, Blanket, Tarp
>Fire: Flint/Steel or similar arrangement, Matches, Lighter
>Food: Spoon, Fork(optional), Small skillet, metal bowl, Food reserve (bars, peanut butter, nuts, etc.), Small pleasure foods (Alcohol, Chocolate), Fishing Kit, Wire for traps
>Water: A couple water bottles/canteens, Secondary water cleaning method (filter, tablet, or bleach).
>Medical: First Aid Kit, extra pain killers, extra antibiotics, extra bandages.
>Tools: Versatile Durable Knife, Hatchet (somewhat optional), Folding shovel (optional), Flashlight, Multitool, Rope
>Hygiene: Toothbrush + Paste, Toilet Paper
>Knowledge: A few small relevant books, map(s), a compass
>Misc: Camera, Notebook + Writing Utensils, Whistle, Wallet containing some money (other money stashed among possessions) and ID, Spare Batteries, Watch, Phone
>Preferable: At least one partner.
Being with someone is added security, and can be a bonding social thing, which is great, and you can help reassure each other as you go. Has to be a decent person though. It also means less to carry per-person since some of these items, especially heavier ones, can be divided between you (such as the skillet, hatchet, shovel, fishing kit, tarp (size dependent), etc.
