I love this board.
But people keep wanting specification as to what is and is not acceptable:
I think we should establish some rules etc.
So far we have decided that we are known as sc/out/s or /out/siders both of which are good names.
As it says in the sticky this board is for discussions about:
- Hiking
- Camping
- Geocaching
- Orienteering
- Gardening
- etc.
So, by that logic anything that is considered "outdoorsy"
outdoorsy [ˌaʊtˈdɔːzJ]
adj
Informal characteristic of, or taking part in activities relating to, the outdoors
So I think we should allow hunting threads, fishing threads, animal threads, etc.
People complain that these belong on /k/ or /an/ or /asp/ but if we keep up this vendetta against these threads then we won't get enough posters and /out/ will be removed.
I certainly don't mind poaching people from these boards to keep /out/ going, so far I love this board.
Who agrees?
