I have one hatchet, one axe, and one maul. In the woods, I only have one hatchet.
I'm never in a position where I'd be comfortable waiting on a warranty claim to have a working tool again.

Again...this is /out/. that should always be a concern. This is not DIY, where we can assume your tools will stay in a shop.
And damn right wetterlings or GFB can break...But they absolutely ARE covered by warranty, wetterlings is a lifetime, GFB is 20 years.
