Back in november someone made a british columbia /out/ thread. 3 of us actually connected and started chatting and eventually met up. It wasn't until last weekend that we finally had the first official /out/ bc hikeout. We had planned to do the stawmaus chief in squamish but one of the members decided to eat bad meat and get his ass sick. So me and the other member did it and had a helluva time. But then came the idea for this hike. Eaton lake. 900+meters in elevation over 5km to a pristine lake nestled between mountains with potential to camp at the top. This was the first overnight camping trip we had to hike to so we came with some rediculous prepeations but overal it turned out amazing. i'll dump some flicks with some descriptions on this colorful hike. Hopefully we can rally some other bc/out/ bros for some other hikes this summer. Joffre lakes is next!
