Hello, /out/. This is my fishing kayak. I'm looking for some advice on making modifications to it. I'm not very handy and frankly I'm terrified of drilling holes and fucking up my precious boat.

It's a sit-inside Perception Patriot Angler (11.5ft) that I got on clearance in the $300 range; it had been sitting on display since 2012 actually. Looking back I wish I'd got the sit-on-top model instead, but it wasn't clearanced and another $100 more expensive.

Anyway, here's some things I want to add to it:
Anchor trolley, depth finder, outfitted for night fishing (ideally I'd like a red LED strip on the bow's port and green on starboard, with a white stern light plus a small cockpit light), bungees on the bow for storage, some kind of console (to mount the depth finder, cup holder, extra rod holder), and some way to fit a small cooler for drinks, lunch, or fish.

I'm a little upset with myself that I didn't do more research before committing to a kayak because making mods to a sit-inside is more tricky. My cockpit is ridiculously huge and roomy though.

So does anyone have suggestions? I think first priority is lights so I can stay out at night and don't have to paddle in when it starts to get dark. Is it even possible to mount LED strips onto the bow as nav lights in a sit-inside? Just throw any tips you may have my way. I know a lot of you guys fish from kayaks and have made mods to them. It's hard to find good info online for sit-inside kayaks.
