hey /out/ any had any run in with any critters while exploring the outdoors

>decide to go hiking in mt Macedon and take a few pics of the local flora
>walking on the walking tracks mainly stepping off the track maybe up to 100M every now and then to take a better photo
>leg feels itchy, suddenly FUCKING LEECH about 10cm long on my leg
>nope the fuck out and rip the fucker off, i don't have a lighter or anything like that on me
>get back to my car and check the rest of my body
>find a total of 11 Leeches on ranging from a few cm to over 10cm long
>nope hard rip all the fuckers off and drive home, bleeding kinda bad from the bites (think pic related but with 5 - 6 bites on one leg)
>only gone out walking for 2 hours, didnt even step in any water or anything just a thin layer of mud on my boots
>apparently their are also terrestrial leeches and not only the aquatic kind, who knew huh
any more stories anyone wants to share
