back after a couple days

we went to dock and dine in old saybrook, got some blues and a keeper fluke, than we closed some bar and we ended up the ct river in cromwell at 5 am and the carp were spawning so we were using bunker snags going for them....all we got were a few giant scales

sounds good i got out to shade swamp ( by tunxix) and caught a ton of little bullheads to throw in my pond
also walked right up onto a group of deer on the trail around the lake
its a pretty nice place even though the fishing is pretty crappy

Brought my little cousin out today and while he was throwing worms for sunnies i left my line out for bullheads just to catch something different only caught one but it was pretty fat and put up a good fight on the tiny rod i was using

we covered about 6-7 miles yesterday back and forth, made it to the rt 9 overpass, but i didnt trust the little motor in the ct river so we turned back

black pond in meridan is good for trout and bass on bobbers, and they just stocked 700+ channel cats in about a month ago to keep it clean

labled as albany turnpike on google maps they just added in a cvs a bit down the road from it
it was the margaritaville then the chinese food restaurant that bombed quick
in the past there has been great bass fishing not much this year so far
il be fishing like 3 days a week since no school and no job so i need plenty of places to get out fishing

i always just park at the back of the parking lot or get dropped off and go out on it and have never once had issues the rail trail runs right by it and people sometimes park there to go out on the trail
i you cold also park by the dunkin or any of the other stores there
i just rigged up the rod i used for bass for light saltwater fuck i guess im using my tiny little panfish rod
im hoping il actuially catch something

you may have a hard time fishing there then i mentioned you kind of need a boat there i would bring a canoe if i had access to one but i currently only have a kayak

22 3/4 inches long
( didnt get its girth ) but at its widest it was close to 7.5 inches
it was alot fatter than the pictures make it out to be i guestimated atleast 10 lbs in weight because the scale i grabbed decided to not work
