Dear Mods and Users,
I would like to use this thread to propose some additional information be added to the Sticky. At the very least we should compile a list of topics for which to create infographics. I feel that it would reduce redundant threads, improve the browsing experience for novice /out/doorsmen, and generally make the board a better and more accommodating place.
I'm sure that /out/ would happily create infographics to assist newfriends with the following "basic" information. Topics like:
>babby's first hiking boots
>layering and clothing
>fire starting 101
>how to sharpen a knife
>map & compass navigation
>emergency signaling
What other topics does the board thing are important to add? At the very least we could whip up a set of infographics over the next couple of weeks... in a perfect world they would be added to the sticky!
