At my age, my grandfather was basically a drifter doing odd jobs here and there, never staying in any place for too long and hitchhiking, walking, or doing whatever was needed to get to the next destination. I've got a bad sense of wanderlust and longing for the open road. Every day I think about how nice it would be to just pack up a bag full of shit and head off somewhere without any real destination in mind. Is something like that even viable anymore or would I just end up dead in a ditch somewhere after a week?
