Few guys I ride with smoke. I don't. "Legal" here anyways...
As long as you're not being retarded about it, IDGAF.
But when your lack of awareness, skills, safety, or good judgement starts affecting me or putting me in an uncomfortable situation; i'm taking over, getting everyone back to the trailhead and won't be riding with you again.
Happened once a few years back...
>Be me, 4-day trip with ~15 others, split into two groups
>Buddy's sled broke a steering post day 3
>another guy "I've got a sled in the trailer you can use for the last day"
>One guy knew the area well, he's been our "guide" for the past few days
>other group takes off their way
>we go ride, great day, great terrain, get some good shots
>Guide tokes up almost every time we stop
>about 1530, he decides "Okay we're going back to the cabins"
>takes off, doesn't wait to regroup
>doesn't stop at intersections to regroup, just keeps going
>whatthefuckman.png
>So i'm towards the back, notice I've lost the last two, including the guy who was on the borrowed sled
>Stop, wait for the 2nd-to-last rider (who was anchor), "You seen anon?" "Nope"
>Okay wait here, I'll blast ahead and grab the rest of the group
>race mode engage
>They were playing in a meadow about 2 miles ahead, seemingly unaware the group had lost someone
>explain situation
>"whatever man", takes off towards the cabins
>areyoufuckingserious.tiff
>Two other guys were as uncomfortable about the situation as I was, so the three of us head back
>Pick up anchor rider, find borrowed-sled stuck'd after ~45min search
>unstick it, get everyone together
>pretty damn dark by now
>Take it easy back to the cabins, follow good group protocol since i'm now the guide
>Ride past smoker-guide's RV, he opens the door, pot smoke billows out
>cheechandchong.mpg
>he was out of the pot he brought and wanted to roast so he just took off
Haven't rode with the guy since, and it's been about 4 years now.
