Cub Scouts? definitely not.
I think at that age most of them would prefer to have a boys club with no girls allowed.
I think cub scouts is already forced coed in the UK. (Correct me if I'm wrong)
Back when I was in Cubs, Akela gave us the option of allowing girls into the troop after somebody's sister wanted to join and put it to the vote. It was a unanymous no. We were mixed in with girls at school and every other activity we did, Scouts was where we could just be a group of lads having fun with good male role models around.
There's plenty of female only groups and activities around but anything that is just for the boys is either denigrated and mocked or forced to accept female members.
Let the boys have a boys club until they start developing an interest in the oposite sex on their own.
