My lucky find was pic related. Bought it in 1986 in a pawn shop for $100. Mutilated Arisaka with a .30 caliber barrel added and chambered in .30-06. Shoots handloaded 150 grain psp bullets under half minute if you load them hot, shoots factory ammo about a minute and a half. Bought it as a poorfag high school kid and haven't needed another scoped hunting rifle. When this barrel goes (and it eventually will because it likes the hot loads) I'll screw on a new 26" one and make it a 6.5-06 or .270 wincest.
