I did that about 5 times. Others on the mountain wrote books about what happened, the Russian from memory was one. I'd intended to read the other accounts but never did. I have no interest otherwise in mountaineering - why the fuck would you do that shit. It's like choosing misery, just to stand on a rock.
What Other Krakauer Books would you recommend? Banner of Heaven I couldn't finish.
