Happened on a boy scout trip when I was younger. Walking in between the fast kids and the slow kids. See a couple cute little bear cubs. About twenty seconds later it dawns on me that I'm alone and don't see the mama. Ran like a retarded bat out of hell to the next group. And thus I survived a bear attack at 12yrs old.

have you ever castrated a chicken? their balls are like inside of them. very hard. I've talked to a vet who has tried castrating chickens and the chickens tend to die for whatever reason. I dont castrate my roosters, and they taste fine. i do castrate my pigs, but then i hear that some boars taste fine even without castration.

Just an idea that I hope I'm not stretching too far but ... animals communicate with eye contact. For instance staring down a mountain lion is a good way of telling it "I see you" and turning away will provoke an attack. If a mother bear sees a person near it's cubs do you think it would be less likely to attack if you resisted the temptation to stare at the cute little cubs? The mother would take it as a sign that you're unaware of uninterested in the cubs by not staring at them.
