Snake is overrated. There's so little there. Would be good for flavoring stews and soups I suppose. I had the problem with long snakes slithering out of the skillet the instant they hit the heat. I had to chop them up into 4 inch long sections. Then they just wiggle around for a bit. They do that even when fully skinned and gutted and are nothing but meat and bone left. Pretty freaky.

Snake is like trying to eat 4-5 creek chubs. Not worth the time and effort unless it is for survival.

I cut the snake into about four inch sections, douse them in flour and deep fry the pieces in a pot full of vegetable oil

I love reptiles, and used to let rattlers go on there way when I came across them, but after I ate one I kill them for the eats when I see them.

Its chronic tacos. I thought the meat would have a hint of that snake smell but it tastes really clean, almost like really good fish
