Can we have a general information /out/doors thread? For rookies I guess you could say.

I can hunt, use a gun(have my own), and a bow(have my own), but I want to know more. I want to be able to walk into a forrest and know how to survive with nothing but the gear on me. (I know this can't just be learned from info shit on the internet, but it can't hurt to have a bit of information.)
