but certain coughlin items are WAYY more worth buying than their name bran equivilants.
It depends totally on how important the item you need is. For example, I bought a coughlin's folding shovel (only 10 bucks) compared to the name brand (25 bucks) and it works just as well.
Bottom line: depends on the item. If it's essential and you're using it heavily, buy name brand. If it's not as important/you aren't using it too often, buy coughlin's.
