Don't listen to these faggots OP. Sunglasses can come in handy in really sunny areas. I do mostly alpine hiking and i wouldn't go without mine. wide frame wrap arounds and are ideal to stop the sun from sneaking in the sides. If the are you are going is mostly shaded you should probably go with a lens that isn't as dark to avoid not seeing a root and tripping over it.. Do lose the faggy neck wrap though and pick up a lightweight fast drying hat.

Buffs are a versatile piece of clothing. Not sure where the hate is coming from unless it's just because they're popular. Sun glasses are pretty much essential when sunny. Especially for me with sensitive eyes. Although admittedly the ones in OP are a bit faggy.

wera it if you want. All of my clothing is sweat management. Is that a cotton shirt? If it is Your'e doing it wrong. hat helps keep the sun off my face and neck, it also keeps me warmer when temps dive 40 to 50 degrees at night. Like I said no one on the trail cares. I wouldn't go inna woods with all that personally, but that's me. I will wear sunglasses if the day is so bright my eyes are straining (ie most of summer here) and I want to get a neck wrap for when I'm kayaking to keep sun off my neck and to better keep me cool, in the woods there's enough shade.
So I'd use the same stuff, just for different applications.
