I have obtained all the necessary items for a survival kit, but i would like to add some tips or pages that I could add to the kit, if you guys have anything that would be good to add to it, i would appreciate if you shared them.

Lose the matches and replace them with a couple of Bic lighters.
Replace the smaller knife with a Leatherman or other brand multi-tool
That compass is a toy, get a real one
Pack of (unscented) baby wipes, to prevent monkey butt
Spare batteries for the flashlight
Dunno how much value the hand-pull chainsaw will be?
Don't see any first aid supplies, beyond some band-aids
Add a Lifestraw and iodine tablets
You might consider a rat trap, for catching squirrels.
A camping spork or eating utensil set

has anyone here ever killed something with a primitive bow?

some fags keep talking shit about how you should make spears and bows for SHTF scenarios but I don't think that they are worth shit compared to traps or fishing spears

13 year old me fashioned a bow shaped object from a thin willow branch and strung it with old bootlaces tied together. Peeled some saplings, sharpened em, fletched it with duct tape. I cant speak for how primitive it was, but it was about as rudimentary as you could get, maybe 10 pounds draw, if that.

Few days later saw a rabbit munching on lettuce at the edge of our garden. Walked up to it slowly and shot it at maybe 10 feet. Arrow stuck him to the ground through his lower half. It was screaming and trying to pull free so I ran to my dad for help. It was dead by the time we got back. He put it in a bag and threw it away, saying you'll get sick if you eat rabbits in the summer.

So yeah, you can totally kill rabbits with pointy sticks. But they're poisonous in the summer, aparently. Better hope shtf in the colder months or you're fucked.

A half dozen contractor sized trash bags are a whole campsite. Their uses are legion. A small roll of duct tape would not be amiss. And a walking staff. Not those fiberglass trekking poles that just scream Eurogay, but a real staff. Wooden, untreated or linseed oil at most, comes up to between your elbow and shoulder. Stout enough to hold your weight when you sprain your ankle. It provides stability on slopes and water crossings. Also good for testing the ground ahead of you before you commit your weight. Handy for fending off enraged wildlife. And emergency firewood if need be.

I can't, legally I mean. Rabbits aren't in season till October and I don't have land of my own. For all I know if you cut into one before first frost a swarm of spiders will spill out and kill you.
