I work with high frequency microwave communication devices. I got a job that is a WISP and learned from there.
To get certified to climb is pretty easy, you need to take a rope and tower safety/rescue course which is certified. These are normally around 1000 bucks and last a couple days.
Past that it is interviewing and being safe and climbing swiftly. Being strong and in shape helps, a lot of the time you will climb up and down hundreds of feet all day, in snow, rain, wind, blizzards, thunderstorms, any type of weather you can imagine.
