In school we got meet to a Native American girl who could speak with crows. She taught our class a few basic phrases that crows understand. Two caws is a greeting, like saying hello. If you do it you'll often get a reply. 4 caws or more repeatedly means danger of some sort. 3 caws means "something over here, come take a look." It often means food or but can be what ever. When she demonstrated her bird call she did this and withing a minute there were a few crows in the nearby trees watching us.

Anyone else able to speak with animals in anyway?
