>>367282For now I just have 550 paracord and a spool of micro cord that supports about 75 lbs. Also a few feet of nylon webbing for suspending my hammock. I'm looking to buy some climbing rope though to have just in case.
>>367284What thickness is climbing thickness? Like 7mm-ish?
>>367286Sure. But depends on what you'll be doing.
Paracord for just about anything except anything that puts your life on the line.
Climbing rope for climbing.
Nylon webbing for suspension and also climbing or whatever.
>>367304Swiss army knives are actually pretty great at cutting rope. Super sharp.
Serrations are great too of course.
And depending on the rope material, you can burn the ends or tape them like the above anon mentioned.
I guess fishing line is a cord. Right?
