You can find other tarps just as good and even bigger ones too for around 50 or so.
I bought mine for 60, it's a Chinook. Some people have gotten them on sale for 30-40 bucks though so depends on when and where you look.
I basically just wanted a large tarp to cover my whole setup and wanted it to be a last-tarp-i'll-ever-need kinda thing. I know it won't last forever but I'm hoping it'll last a long time at least. So it was worth the investment.
A good solid tarp can be so useful. You can string it above you, you can lay it under you, or you can even make a tent out of it.
