Well I'm a graduate student, so I don't really do much.
Mostly fuck around on the internet and attend tons of seminars for the free coffee and snacks.
It's pretty cool, I'd rate it 7/10 cause it's easy and there's tons of sexy young ladies about. Also lots of outoorsyness cause geosciences.

25 year old super-super senior college student. I took a few years off, and I'm finally starting my last year of school in the fall.

Right now, I'm taking summer classes and working a part time construction job and a part time low-level office job.

I enjoy the outdoors in general, and more specifically, camping and hiking, because I secretly despise all of my friends and all of the girls I fuck and I like being alone.
Being up in the mountains is pretty good for that

Love it. I have the kids too severely affected to be in a regular classroom, everything frrom cerebral palsy to genuine mental retardation to severe autism to emotionally disturbed children. It's a hell of a challenge. I taught two kids how to tell time last year, though, so that was really cool. And one little emotionally disturbed and intellectually disabled boy learned to read a few words and add two digit numbers. He'll need that later and I gave it to him. Things like that make the difference between living in your own rent-assisted apartment or a state school/group home. He's got a chance at an independent (mostly) life if we can keep it going. Feels damn good, bro.

Shit nigga, I started at 25. I'm starting my final year of my masters and turn 30 next month. Not even the oldest person here, and no one cares. Actually works out perfectly for meeting women if you're looking for long term. Most grils I meet are 24-25, perfect age really, and a 4-5 year gap is nothing, most enjoy a slightly older man.

Talking to my prospective boss, it sounds like I'm the lead candidate, and I want to know what I'm in for if I take the job. It would be at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.

I work part-time in Maintenance for a school district. It's an okay start, this Xanterra job would be a step up though.

When I was in school, it was like 1 female for every 15 males in engineering. Electrical was probably even worse than that.

I work at an old school plant nursery. It's pretty harsh since we're understaffed and my boss hates the work and is constantly at the end of his rope so works me pretty hard for a penny over minimum wage. Though its infinitely better than call center work...never again.

I'm working towards a post in the ranger service with all my spare time, the pay is even worse but idgaf at this point.

Farmhand on an alpaca farm. Day-to-day work is mostly shoveling shit, but it gets more entertaining when it's time for shots, mating, or shearing, plus the farm's in Indian country so I've found a bunch of arrowheads unearthed by erosion.

I am a seaman apprentice in the coast guard. I work on the aids to navigation team climbing towers to replace sealights, and boating out on lake superior to clean buoys. most days I get to drive through the woods on the utv we rigged with treads and smoke cigs with my shipmates(the towers are very inaccessible).pretty sweet gig

this is what people with degrees in bio do outdoors:

take samples for environmental testing (typically soil or water samples from a monitoring well or samples of sludge/products from petroleum site that you will take back, dump into a fish tank, and see how quickly it kills a bunch of little fish)

work on a factory fishing vessel, checking to see how many dolphins, seals, otters, killer whales, and other distantly related aquatic organisms were caught along with all of the trash and octopii to determine if the catch is valid.

work tagging fish at or near a reservoir or an inlet or something
