The only time Moras really get recommended is when somebody pops up asking for a cheap option. Or it's somebody new to going /out/ asking what their first knife should be.
I'm not going to recommend a £100+ Bark River (lel) blade to them when they might not even be interested next week. I'm gonna recommend the twelve quid Mora option.

You genuinely seem rustled about the fact that a good value tool gets recommended a lot and I can't see why.
It's not like it's only /out/ that recommends them, check out any of the online bushcraft communities and ask what a beginners knife should be. Everyone will point towards a Mora.
