OP, what sort of "tips" do you need for "building" a tarp draped over some rope? It's the simplest shelter possible.

OP: there's really not much to say about tarps, I usually only use mine when it's wet out. I hang it up in some trees, leaning towards the ground so I can get out of my (very small) tent without getting soaked straight away
